Thermal Simulation of Fire Tests on Steel-Concrete Composite Slabs

This presentation was made at the Iberian Awareness Seminar 2017 on Thermal Modelling held on the 23rd of February 2017 in Madrid

The objective of thermal modelling is to understand the response and performance of a physical system including the effects of heat transfer, convection and radiation. Many times this requires multi-physics simulations where temperature has an effect on the behaviour and performance of components, structures or processes including effects on material properties and boundary conditions, loading etc.

The seminar aspires to present different industrial applications creating awareness and promoting the use of thermal simulation to increase accuracy and product or process performance.
