Giving Arthritis the Finger Customized Medical Device, Optimized for Durability


Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease where the body attacks the joint will investigate a flexion cycle, the stresses and fatigue life will be predicted. It tissues causing degradation, pain and loss of function of the joint. This simulation can affect many joints of the body; however, for this study, we will limit the scope to the fingers or phalanges. In a typical hand, there are 27 bones. Each finger has proximal intermediate and distal phalanges. The thumbs do not have intermediate phalanges.
