Structural Analysis Considering the Molding History of Resin Molded Products

Analysis Flow

Global webinar with live Q&A.

The quality of products made from resin strongly depends on their molding history. For fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) in particular, regardless of the fact whether the reinforcement form is discontinuous or continuous, anisotropic properties like stiffness and strength vary significantly based on the fiber orientation, which itself depends on the molding history. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately incorporate resin flow analysis results into structural analysis to predict the mechanical properties of molded products using engineering simulation (CAE).

Multiscale analysis is one of the important technologies in this workflow. This webinar will introduce the analysis method that links resin flow analysis and structural analysis based on a multiscale approach.

Webinar is hosted by CoreTech System Co., Ltd. (Moldex3D).
